Scribble Press is a platform for creating and sharing stories.
This app is a favorite of students and with a price tag of $3.99, this kid-friendly apps is easy to use and comes with a variety of tools that kids can use to write and illustrate stories. Once they are done, they can publish them online or in print, and view other kids' books. It comes with more than 500 writing and drawing tools which allow kids to assemble their stories and its messages through many choices of fonts, colors, images, and more.

Pros: Add stickers, upload pictures, add backgrounds and lots of painting options to create a drawing, starter books for primary students who have a hard time getting started. This app is very easy to use and for the price, a nice story making app for all students.

Cons: Text placement is limited to the bottom of the page. Picture placement is fixed once placed. Cannot edit its placement without starting over though there is an 'undo' button but limited times to use this tool. Text bubble is hit or miss and doesn't seem to work all the time which leads to frustration.

Book Creator - $4.99

Book Creator is simple way to create your own fun iBooks. The app allows you to select pictures from your existing photo gallery or take your own. Pictures can be resized and placed anywhere on the page. The line guides really help to align text and pictures. Text options include different fonts, sizes, color and placement.

Pros: The text option with Book Creator is much nicer to use than Scribble Press because you can place the text anywhere on the page. A nice bonus is the ability to include sound with your story.

Cons: The app does is a bit more than Scribble Press and is easy to use, however, lacks the extra accessories offered in Scribble press - backgrounds (though you can change the page color), stickers and drawing tools.
